I have killed 2 small red lasers when trying to take the diode out and unsolder some parts.. you know i was an "diode-idiot" then, and didn't know that heat would kill diodes..
As you might know I have a X105.
on wickedlasers page I see that 95 mW and 125 mW have range above 50 miles.. is that the dot or? how can I see the dot in 50 miles!?! I can "only" see the beam for 5 km most(as I have tried) and i can't see if there is dot because the beam is always "in the way"...
can those people who have Nova X series lasers tell me what their average and peak mW is?
i'm not sure but i feel like mine is not catching up with the others :-/ (maybe some bullshit in my head) :D
x105 --
111.7 and 114.8
in burning does the 5-10 mw change anything?
that is pretty cheap! well the price here in Iceland.. normal batteries (not rechargeable) will cost about 11 $ in some shops, but if i go to Reykjavik, they are much cheaper.
well i have been playing with my x105, always use my goggles when doing close up burning, but when pointing on white wall I look away, but afterwards i get tired in my eyes, just like welding blind(trying to translate from Icelandic) but a lot less effective, does this damage my eyes bit by bit...
