    Popcorn popping...

    Again... That will still only cook half of the side. And now for a weird idea. If you can just get the popcorn kernal to "float" somehow (A Popcorn Magnet >_>) and Get mirrors to cook the kernal from all sides, MAYBE you could get a result, but not guarentee on that. And again... Simply heating...

    Popcorn popping...

    Yet the Native Americans 4000–5000 years ago made popcorn (Who I doubt had microwaves back then) using a pot. Also, for one, microwaves do NOT cook from inside-out. Clearly the opposite. My whole point of that was that you do not need to use a microwave to cook popcorn.

    Minimag Flashlight Laser

    Making a Maglite laser should work, just be careful with it. If you can, try another type of flashlight, but if you can't, stick with Maglite.
