    Anyone have a pic of a 523nm next to a 532nm?

I have a 523nm coming I think in the 500-600mw range so I'll let you know when I get it if I can put it side by side with someone's 532 projector. However, it may be a few months. I'm a bit surprised no-one has tried this wavelength as although its DPSS in the higher powers, it does have a...

    Anyone have a pic of a 523nm next to a 532nm?

532nm Side by side with 510nm its clear to see that 510nm is a darker shade of green, many have described it as forest green or Christmas tree green whereas 532nm green is a much lighter shade and some say more yellowy shade. It is reasonable to presume that as the wavelength of 523nm falls...

    Anyone have a pic of a 523nm next to a 532nm?

Yeah thanks for that. Obviously 523 is going to fall in between the two colours but it does at least allow some guesswork of how it is going to look 532 / 510nm side by side. Would be really good is someone did have 523nm though. From the looks of it though, it should be a really nice green...

    Anyone have a pic of a 523nm next to a 532nm?

Does anyone have a pic of 523nm (DPSS) and 532nm green side by side? I'm interested in a colour comparison.

    RGB laser..

I don't normally post over here as I'm not a huge pointer fan and I know that makes me unpopular over here, but thought I could help in this instance (white-light from PL). There's a QS demo here to download: http://www.pangolin.com/_Files/Setup_QS2_Ev.exe You can't output from it but you can...

1 Mega Watt Pulse Laser Gun in High Speed

There's nothing negative about warning of the dangers of a pulsed laser. This was billed originally in the post as a toy. A toy it certainly is not. Questions such as the one above, is this the same as my 200mw cw laser over 1.5 secs just go to show the lack of appreciation of just how...

    OMFG! "Cancer ray"!!!!

Laser light is much more intense than sunlight. A laser has the potential to expose you to levels in milli seconds what sunlight might take hours to do. eg. A sunbed can give you a 5 minute tan, a tan that would take hours outside but a sunbed has no where near the level of coherent light that a...

    Safety Goggles

Laserwave who manufacture laser modules (up there with CNI for quality in my opinion) also manufacturer laser safety goggles. There are several Laserwave dealers on the Photonlexicon forums.

    OMFG! "Cancer ray"!!!!

I'd be very careful taking photos of pulsed lasers. Average power might be 420mw but that probably includes the 0 mw periods between the pulses as average by its very nature is power over time. The pulses could easily be in the tens of watts range and thus extremely eye hazardous. That's why...
