The BQ unit arrived last evening and functions as expected this morning, although it's a very overcast day. It looks about the same brightness, at 80 to 90 feet as the one I got years ago. So, without a meter, I can't tell how strong they are, but they both fit my needs now.
I didn't now...
Thanks. I'm supposed to get that 200mw today some time. I've got my fingers crossed. The first 65mw green that I got from Gun Auction arrived with a wimpy dot that looked like 5mw to me. I sent it back to him and he explained why and sent it back to me with a picture of his power meter...
Yes, it's just a simple pointer, but remember that once mounted, you need the adjustment screws to aim the dot up/down and left/right until it lands on the spot where the bullet hits. In gun talk, that's elevation and windage. It also has to be stable enough to take the vibration of the shots...
Sounds good. If I had known sooner........... The 200mw green, from the unmentionable company should arrive tomorrow. If it's not a ripoff, I can remove the one from Gun Auction, take pictures, or even just send it to you or whoever, and mount it and use it. At that point, I could i could...
Thanks. I've had several, starting with 5mw red and learned the hard way. Good in deep shadows at ~40 feet. The only ones that cut it were 50mw green. And, the one much stronger one I got by mistake. They all take almost an hour and over 35 rounds, from a gun vice, to Zero within 1/2 inch...
I assure you i'm not working for anyone. Not BeamQ or QBeam whoever that is... I searched the web looking for laser sights, as I did 6 and more years ago. Can anyone give me a better place to look? So far, if BeamQ turns out to be a ripoff, I'm looking at 100mw green on LaserTo or...
Thank you very much. That matches what I would guess. I have a 6 year old green laser sight I got from BeamQ back then. I's clearly visible, in sunlight at 80 feet or more. It was advertised as 50mw green, but I'm sure I got more than I paid for. It came with no tail switch. Only a...
Ok. I gather you don't want me around here. For some years now, I've been using "green laser rifle sights" visible in moderate daylight for vermin. My wife can't hit a damn thing without her's. She had what claimed to be a 50mw green sight that "recently" turned out to look like about 5mw...
OK guys. Can anyone make any suggestions? About 6 years ago I got a green laser rifle sight from BeamQ. I think it was sold as 50mw at less than $60. What I received is clearly visible at over 30 or 40 yards in bright daylight. It’s great. I assume it was a mistake in my benefit. I now...
