Which mounts look like surplus?
Mounts - Opt Lasers
And please do not spread faulty information. We are producing and assembling everything here in Poland.
About the price. Buy 10 pieces and we can bargain without a problem. We are mostly doing customized lasers for laboratory use, so we have...
We were testing some other lenses available on the market. And why we choose this shape not another, here are the answers:
1. 12x12 allows to use the same valley shaper t omover one lens versus another, you do nto need 12mm and then 8mm.
2. 12mm is smaller than any diode housing maybe despite...
I think we did an offtop here :)
It depands on what beam you need at the output. Because at long distance g2+6x will be better because smaller, but how about close distance - I do not know yet. Soon we will test.
Alaskan, you are right, but I couldn't steal your avatar now so I'm waiting for the new product and I will be first thi time :)
This drivers are not dedicated for laser pointers but they give very high speed comparing to the buck/boost ones. In some situation when the supply voltage is close to...
Thanks for the idea, I will think about it with next batch order, but this would requitre additional voltage stabilisator. Now all the elements are powered from the input voltage and there is no stabilisator inside - to make it as small as possible.
We have reference pin (TEST) in our LPLDD5A +...
Nice to see our driver in action :)
Overall the heating part is the mosfet. The amount of heat is connected with the voltage input you use. So if you use 5V diode and 12V input it will heat
(12 - 5) * current so 35W!!! But if you use input voltage close to the diode voltage the amount of heat is...
That could be possible, but I'm rather thinking of making the uRGB driver even smaller... I can put elements on two sides and use DC-DC instead of linear it is possible but needs real market need. For example we did some signal converters last year and to be honest we sold 1 pcs only, it was...
LoL, I missed this thread too. It is really hard to be up to date in every place ;) I really apprieciate guys sharing your great work. It helps us much because we know how to move on in 2017 :D I like your ideas and build and all comments which are realy helpful.
I agree that in laserpointers worls 400USD is not that small amount. Maybe some more people would be interested to create a groupbuy? For like 5 pcs?
I'm happy that many hobbysts are our customers but also we can not lower the price too much because we have our distributors and agreements with...
Really nice work! I was not expecting such idea :)
I will also ask my colleague if maybe it is possible to print such host in different price since he have soem 3D printers.
Can you fill the the slit between the lenses with some kind of glue or water to test what happen? That might help you. You can also use glue used for smartphone screen.
