I recently purchased a 30mW 532 module and hooked it up to the standard driver. I notice there is no green beam, But what I do see is on the inside of the module is glowing faint red (Maybe IR?) Anyone know what this means? did I get a dud/blow it up? or Maybe I am just hooking it up wrong...

Just finished drilling my heatsinks (Don't judge, My first time) Thinking of making the circle one into a 445nm 1-1.2W and the square one perhaps a 405nm (Dunno what power yet) Whatcha think? The machining was a little shotty cause I don't have a drill press available (yet)

Alright, so here is the deal. I took apart a dvd-rw drive from a gateway computer (Laptop). I pulled out the 2 diodes and they are both square with 10 pins. My question is. How in the world do you rig a square diode up with 10 pins? Thank you for your help.
