My family and I intend to stay in the US for one year starting Jan 2012.
I am going to try to convince my parents that building lasers is a legitimate hobby and not only used in terror attacks (:D)
Problem is, we are probably NOT going to stay in a place with a garage.
We are going to stay in...
Hi everyone, i come from Korea (south)
I'm 13 years old.
I live the southern part of Seoul.
I forgot how i got interested in lasers...
my first encounter with them was when i was 7
on the educational website brainpop.com
they explained how lasers worked.
Fast forward a couple of years...
I live in the APT complex
located at
37.492064,127.058424
type that in to google maps lol
I left out my exact APT building for privacy, but that's probably
more accurate than anyone else would go :yh:
yup, i am 13 years old.
i have seen A LOT of vids on YouTube explaining
YOU NEED GOGGLES!!!!!
and lots sites saying you only have one pair of eyes!!
I understand the dangers yes.
Guess I'll have to find some goggles :P :D
btw How did u know i was 13?
I want to get a fairly decent powered laser
but in S. Korea, any laser pointer over 1mw (ONE MILLIWATT!!!) is illegal!
I believe there is a loophole.
If I get the module and assemble it myself, it should go through customs.
DealExtreme sells 50mw green laser modules for $16.20
I'm going to try...
