If only i had the money for something like that  Haha that would be pretty fun to fly it around scarring people :D
The module i bought from dtr already has a driver that can handle the 3s lipo that powers the quad. and like Sigurthr siad, i dont think the BEC will have enough amperage...
Yeah I agree, it can be very dangerous. I plan on only using it once to get some pictures and video then disassembling it. I will just put it in a handheld host. I'll use as many safety precautions as I can while building/flying it.
Hey guys, recently I've been getting into quad copters and have been wanting to put an led light system on mine so I can fly at night.
This is how it would work: I ordered some reciever controlled switches that plug into a spare channel on the reciever and I can then control them...
How much would shipping be to Arizona for the 22600 2500mAh ultra fire battery?
i was looking to get one and saw this, my other alternative would be to get it on aliexpress.com for about $8 with free shipping so would the total be cheaper than that?
he hasn't responded so i think i will go ahead and just buy the driver from cajunlasers.
So ill buy the X-Boost mini 1.8 amp, m140 diode in a module and with a three element glass lense, and a BRC 22600 2500mAh 3.7V Li-ion Battery, and some thermal epoxy. the total cost is under $100.
Oh so i cant buy them directly from lazeerer? If so how would i got one preset? and the build im doing is a bit different than you are thinking. just look through this tutorial which i will be following and you will see what im talking...
i see, well thanks for the advice. I will try contacting lazeerer to see if he will set the current, that would be really handy. but i was going to order some wire and heatshrink tubing with the benboost driver but if i ordered the X-Boost from laseerer i would be paying more in shipping...
haha no but i noticed it a little after :D
Well i think i will end up using a hotlight kit i bought from mohrenberg a while ago(to cut the cost of this build). So i have the host and heatsink covered and it looks like i could follow DTR's tutorial here...
Hi guys, im looking to buy a M140 diode from DTR and i want to find a driver and host for it. I will probably buy it already pressed into a module with a Three Element Glass Lens (the $60 option from DTR). the host i would like to use is this: Aluminum Alloy Flashlight Housing Casing for...
i am using alkaline AAs and i get about 6.5v. So according to Eudaimonium that is not enough voltage and or current to power this circuit properly. so if I power it with 2 3.6v AAs it should put out 400ma with a 3.1 Ohm resistor?
