Maybe that is my problem? I am not using rechargables. Just standard Duracell Ultra's. Both read 3.05V on a multimeter.

Multiple Postings I just put my spare switch in and it still will not turn on. :banghead: After a little tinkering I finally got it to work but with two brand new cr123a batts in it, it is horribly underpowered. Hopefully I am still doing something wrong but if not Im going to try and send...

I checked the batts...they are both reading 3.05V consistently. I took off the end cap and ran a wire from the end of the battery to the host and the laser came on. So the clicky switch must be faulty. I took appart the cap but really dont know how to fix the switch or even work with it.

I followed their instructions of putting the positive end's in first/towards the spring. Im not sure what else to do. Here are some pictures of everything it came with. Edit: photos dont seem to be working

Well, im stumped...I put two brand new cr123a's in it and it will not turn on. Not a good start.

Well the DIY bug came recently...I ordered an Arctic and that's what brought me here. When or if the arctic comes is going to determine how soon i start building my own. Sorry for the "usless posts" been a slow day.

I think your going to run into the same problem at staples. I would try an office supply warehouse if there is one next to you.

They are actually doing 500 worldwide I believe and 137 are coming to the US. You are right about the GT2 RS appreciating...just look at the 993 GT2. Those things are going for over 200,000 pounds!

Haha well for someone that knows about the GT2 RS I am surprised you dont know that the 918 isn't out yet. GT2 RS and 918 are just such different cars that they cant be compared though. The 918 will change the supercar industry for good.

Yea I have checked out a couple of them and they do look very good.
