I also see purble blurs, but then when I look at an unfocused (around 1m diameter) 200mw red laser pointer in a completely dark room. I haven't tested it with other 'red' glows in the dark. It's a weird effect and actually annoys me because it 'tickles' my eyes.
I've ordered a 200mw red laser a while ago at O-Like. The bottom part + battery stuff took 2 weeks to arrive, while the rest of the laser took another extra week. (This was during christmas times)
So I recommend you to wait atleast a week for the rest of your laser.
Meh, I knew that anything bought from DX has it risks.. :undecided: Oh well, the host is still nice for future builds and I got an extra 18650 battery. I'm not going to make this mistake twice though, so I'm probably going to order a 100mw blu-ray from o-like later. It's gonna cost a bit more...
I bought a 50mw 405nm purple laser from dealextreme (yes I know..) 3 weeks ago, for around 35 dollars. (Not a lot money for me because I live in the EU) Now it arrived at my home today and I tested it out. But unfortunately it looked like it was broken. After I wasted some time trying...
One time I and my friend found an old projector focusing lens. We tried to shine my laser through it but obviously we weren't wearing safety glasses, and suddenly I saw a bright flash near or into my eye. :cryyy: I was completely shitting my pants while searching for possible damages to my...
I was looking around on the attic and I found some old interesting things, including an old IC remote controlled 'UFO' which broke a few years ago. Luckily after checking out the electronics they appeared to work fine. I checked the voltage this thing operates on and puts out (3volts yay), and I...
It's still a pretty cool picture.
Oh, haha.. Take this picture again, but this time with the laser aiming at the electricity pole, and it'll look like the laser makes the electricity pole to short circuit. :na:
Just tested this out with a green laser. It looks like green also works yeah. My laser pointer doesn't have an IR filter so I wasn't able to test if it's just the IR/green that "de-charges" the GITD surface.
