50 bucks on a radioshack 5 mw are you ok ? :o you can get true 30 from dx for 25

to realign it just dont have to remove the original glue thats the only way to get it to its original place for 1 minute or less :) thats the mistake i made i removed the sticked glue

yes as i told , its on full brightness (original) but there comes the dimming :-[ so you say thats from the alignment ? ill try to realign it maybe

i cant do nothing :D i dont believe that my dx50 is actualy more than 30 i cant burn without a lens with lens i burned a match(10-15 sec) but thats before i realign the crystal set now it started to dim :D

what will happen if i desolder my dx50 LD's PD pin isnt the photo diode that regulates the output ? PS im trying to fix the dimming problem  :-?

im trying to do the same with my dx 50 its verry hard to adjust the crystals i have almost the same power now but the beam  is looking like when you look at a star and i have the dimming problem. Irealized that the dimming problem comes because of the button when i turn it on and move my finger...

you can't pot mod it but you can put one more batterie ,that will shorten its life

something is not ok with these lasers. When i put a lens in front of the IR diode it burns like hell  but when i screw the focusing part it cant light a match or even cant burn trash bags do is this normall the ir light is going somewhere but  not in the collimating lens thats in the focusing part

if he has somethink for that prize
