Im trying to do Senkats build and I'm having difficultys with my multi meter I set everything so Ma should read on it and when I go to test it on say a AA batt it reads crazy hi in the 400Ma range then it goes down over time to a meager 32 or so and holds there. Any reasons why this would be...

Re: Yet another DIY laser. With a question mixed i Its a senkat sony 16x diode so Im thinking 250ma. I don't have a heatsink so I can't have the Ma to high I just want decent burning.

i run my old 5mw laser off of 2 of those big button watch bats (6v) and it runs much brighter just now i have a duty cycle for a 5mw laser lol but its able to pop through a really inflated ballon with a lense in about 2mins (at 2cm)
