    Poorman's version of "The Torch"

Basically what you do is there are little indentions on a plastic piece that holds the lens in place, use a pair of needlenose pliars or something pointy, stick it into those indentions, and if I remember correctly screw it clockwise, or it may be counter-clockwise, I can't remember, but just...

    Poorman's version of "The Torch"

Yep if u shine the flashlight in a really foggy room its cool because you can see where the beam "focuses" and then splits again about half an inch from the flashlight. Its nothing like a laser but its still cool! Burns skin too, good for pranks! My friends didn't believe it would do anything so...

    Poorman's version of "The Torch"

Yep, the lens, host, and bulb drop-in combined with 2 rcr123 batteries and your all set to go.

    Poorman's version of "The Torch"

Well if focuses the IR and that is basically focusing the heat 2 me lol. It focuses the light similar to a laser and thats why it burns.

    Poorman's version of "The Torch"

Ok, hope this helps. Two rcr123 batteries are 4.15v when fully charged, and 2 of them fit in sku 14027, so that is 8.3V of electricity to the 9v bulb. What happens is the little lense focuses the heat and infrared energy produced by the xenon bulb and this focused beam is hot enough to burn...

    Poorman's version of "The Torch"

Yes, sku 771 will work but unless u can find 2 batteries to supply 14v it won't be any more effective.

    Poorman's version of "The Torch"

Yep, those batteries should work fine, the charger and converter look good too!  Do you have the flashlight, lense, and bulb drop-in yet?

    Poorman's version of "The Torch"

Hmm, do you have a picture of it? Have you tried to clean it with a microfiber cloth? It could be when they packaged they had dirty hands and smudged the lens or something? AusLasersSuck, those batteries will work but won't produce nearly as much heat or burning power. Since they are around...

    Quick Question

Cool, so he can expect it to burn white paper easily then, if completely focused, right? That sounds great!

    Quick Question

Hi, my friend is ordering a 115mw blu-ray laser, but he has a question he wanted me to ask on here. He heard the blu-ray lasers of this power level will burn white objects easily, unlike a red or green laser. Is this true? And also, he heard a 115mw blu-ray can burn skin easily, even light white...

    280mw red laser

Here is my new 280mw red laser, it is awesome! In the video I didn't have the dot focused completely right since I used my camera to focus, I will have some red laser goggles on the way soon though.

    Poorman's version of "The Torch"

At the top of the page in the link bar, there is an sku number at the end once you click on a product. So, for example, click on a flashlight. At the top in the link bar, it will end in sku.xxxx, just delete the numbers and put these in there 1 at a time, then hit enter and it should take you to...

    Need some help/advice

So how does it produce those 2 beams though? It is brighter on higher voltage though, and it is hard to notice the 2 beams. Pretty cool laser though.

    Need some help/advice

I noticed something somewhat odd with my 50mw green laser last night.  On batteries below 1.4v, when I turn it on it is a single, narrow beam.  However, when I use stronger batteries (fresh ones around 1.5v), when I turn it on the beam starts out narrow but then like expands into 2 seperate...

    Poorman's version of "The Torch"

The 20 minutes is the amount of time of light that it can still burn stuff, and that is with the rcr123 batteries from DX. I am sure the AW cells would give closer to 30 minutes as the rcr123 batteries have around 500mah each while the AW rcr123 batteries have close to 700mah each. The lumen...

    50mw green laser came today!

So where do you get laser goggles like that? I haven't seen any that covers that wide range of spectrums.

    Poorman's version of "The Torch"

Here are the links! Enjoy! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gyrILH_wgD4 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2d2lO41ri0Q Batteries last about 20 minutes or so, not bad IMO. jamilm9, I don't see why the drop-in wouldn't fit in the module, but can't say for sure if it will fit. I know it fits in sku...
