so i've built a 445nm about a year ago, and recently i've had time to try to get it running again
i dunno why my 445nm is weak as hell but right now i see like a weak dot, with a ring of light around it
i tried a 12V battery thats around 1300mAH and it was weak as hell
im using 2x15266...
k i have my host http://i316.photobucket.com/albums/mm346/bhwollen/IMG_0237.jpg
mohrenberg blue n heatsink n lens
if someone could sell me diode in module + driver and case negative ready
diode window seems fine
so what exactly does not look right about it?
im still waiting for my 16340s batteries, i unno if that will make a difference
perhaps my cr2s are busted
okay so i popped in moh's linear driver, but still using 2x cr2 batteries
i still have a weak output
im guessing my diode is zombie'd once again?
*** so if my batteries cant handle 1.25A, would the power be drastically decreased
i just bought the mohgasm driver and i was wondering how i connect this thing to my laser
im aware of the LD+ and the LD-
but what goes in the GND and VIN
GND is the case pin?
and VIN in the positive battery?
*BUMP
yeah just wondering if anyone here tried this host before
5W LED Handheld Torch Lamp Flashlight Lighting Fishing | eBay
it used to be cheaper but i cant find the seller i bought it from
yeah i was reading around and i saw that 100mW small greenie from focalprice, but unfortunately they don't sell it anymore
but yeah i dun really need that kinda of power, and since this is only $12, its worth a try
http://www.yourlasers.com/product/30mw-532nm-stars-light-show-special-effects-green-laser-pen-%281*aaa%29-30654
just wondering if anyone ever bought this before
i thought it seems pretty cool, 12 bucks for a 30 mW (although i doubt the power)
and especially how it runs off a single AAA...
do i have a bad lens or something, cause my laser seems to splash everywhere
btw, im using a 1 ohm lm317 driver and 2 x CR2 batteries, i know its not enough to power it at 1.2W but does anyone know what kind of output power i may have with that set up right now, maybe 100-300W?
