its not so much the voltage (you still need to have a filter cap) but more so the current (ma) you need to make a very basic circuit which can be found in the experiments section it is just a simpal lm317 circuit you should have no problems and will cost you $7

Re: Not exactly a laser pointer but.opinions on Di
lol u cant use a ktp because it will filter through the 808nm thay are tuned to 1064 to freq double you could try BDO
POS fedex man you dont have luck with the couriers i feel sory for you,
we must be from the same gene pool (kinky) I have horrid issues with any form of post
1065nm IIRC just into the ir spectrum a fun fact with yags is you can output strait through a frequency doubling KTP and get a monster green,
However 60w is piss all for a YAG, IIRC an ssy-1 is a few Mw i could be wrong but usually you measure a yag by the input into the flash lamp eg (12j)
Re: ** FEELER ** PHASER diodes!
Yer 5$ is nothing im in, dont want to fork out $50 to find it was a multi mode eeek.
I tend o agree with gazoo i don't doubt you for a second DDL its just the supplier
Re: ** FEELER ** PHASER diodes!
Im in are thay 5.6 or 9mm or like a c mount (Its just there is a c mount like that in thorlabs cat)
How many do you need?
Also maby you could look at a group buy for an APC driver to suite
Also CW, quasi-CW
Cheers Reuben
60w CO2 (driving with an NST)
a few HeNe's (2x1mw MG's and 3x20 mw JDS)
JDS Argon ION dose 60mw comfortably
Have a 30w diode bar array but no PS capable of ~40watts
a 17watt with getto PSU
and a 150mw 532 lab module
also hake a 30k and 20k scanner
few little handhold's i would wast money on...
