It looks like there is some big news going on over there at laser community. Check this out...
"Hi LC, my name is David Scott and I'm here to update you on the future of Laser Community. I'm very excited to head this project!

Re: My Conversation With a Wicked Laser Representa
This is supposed to be entertaining? Fun is fun...but it has its limits. I hope this doesn't reflect on the reputation of this forum for other people reading it. :P
I'm just thinking of a way to save on batteries if I can make something that I can use to power my laser indoors.
Ah well, I'll just go with the rechargeable cat. :D
The only difference between these lasers is probably just the brand name. Both units are bought from CNI so most likely the performance will be the same. I was even referred to the specs charts on CNI's site. It's just weird that both sites advertise these units as being able to run...
This was started in another thread, but seeing as how it was already off-topic, I just decided to start a new one on this. First off, I don't own a any of these lasers but I do want one if I could afford it. :D So for those who do own one, please enlighten the rest of us.
The crossfire from...
I've read about that, it has a part where you can possibly connect a universal adapter to. Using the herc as an example, 3x1.5 D cells = 4.5V but on their website they recommend using a 3.6V adapter. I'm guessing running it underpowered to avoid frying it?
While going to hardware shops, they...
Well I was only referring to their infiniti series so I can't say anything about the crossfire. I can't afford one (yet). Maybe I'll go ask their customer support about it to get some answers.
At the risk of getting flamed for stating an honest opinion, I have to say this is why I'm more inclined to believe that there definitely is a "bias" going on in this forum with regards to companies. You buy a product, you receive it and if something is wrong, you get it replaced. If the...
A 125mW laser should have enough power to burn through black electric tape and light a dark tipped match. My 95mW can do these easily especially with a cap set on. It's better to contact nova for support and tell them about it.
Somebody should start a list of laser offenses and lets see what new regulations pop up because of them. I heard from somewhere that when you shine your laser in a park and a policeman sees it, your laser's going to get confiscated. :-/
At the very least, the CNI units they sell check out and I've bought a few for me and my friends. I've made 2 purchases so far since buying my first laser from them in Dec. 2007. At present, me and 4 of my friends now own 95mW green lasers + accessories. One of my friends has access to a power...
That's a really nice blue laser. :D How much did you get it for? I'm planning on getting either a new camera or a new laser, I just might go for a blue one this time. Hard to decide which one I want to get first. :P
Yep. You can probably say it was some sort of manufacturing defect and hope they don't know otherwise. :-X
But in my case, can the camera sensor be replaced? Say, I take it to a service center or something?
