Is there any place I could order this ribbon cable holder?

The solder was just taken off the pad If I new were to by a ribbon cable conecter that would be best as it would be easier for the person soldering it and there are no pass through wires that i know of. on the other side the pcd is coverd with other things so i know theres not a connection going...

Is there really no one out there who can do SMD soldering on something this small. I really need your guys's help with this, as I do not want to fork over $60 for a new logic board as I have already bought a new case, hard drive, and screen.

Hi, I just tried it with my red laser and it lit without sharpie in like 3 seconds but I am only running it off 4.5v with a 150ma rockstr driver. And the distance was about 6 inches or so. I am guessing its around 130mw or less.

alrighty i fixed and man is it bright what do you think the duty cycle is i was just outside with it and yes i can see the beem its so cool and it was not warm even after a minute and i am running it 150ma. If i had a duty cycle of 1 minute on 1 minute off how long should it last me?

i am using four AA's so that should be 6 volts. And the circuit board i orderd a while back was set to 150ma so it will last long.

Well even though no one here likes ld sockets i found a place that sells them its thorlabs dot com and saerch s8060 for the socket but they dont just sell that they sell allot of other kool stuff i have a question how does two 10 ohm resitors = 5 ohms when 5 ohms allows more current then 10...

Ok thanks for the help you guys ill cut off some l.e.d. leads and solder them to the pins on the diode and i have one more question is it safe to bend the diode pins just so u dnt get any solder on the other pins accidently?
