    My First build

Ever since watching AnselmoFanZero lazer glove videos on youtube I knew I had to design one of my own. And so with a bit time and hard work I ended up building one to suit my unique design. Thanks to DTR for providing the laser. I have uploaded a video of the device in action. Check it out at...

Question about running laser at 2.2A

ok interesting. I came across this video in which lazereer did a murder test for the 9mm diodes: 9mm 445nm diode Murder Test (MAX Currant POP.!!!) - YouTube it looks like the diode die at around 2.8-3A while being chilled as shown in the video. it also begins to dim at 2.43A.

Question about running laser at 2.2A

well it will be driven at 2.2A. not sure how often i will use it. haven't decided on the host but it will have a good heat sink. I suppose i just wanted to know from other forums members if their diode has died at 2.2A over a short period of time.

Question about running laser at 2.2A

Hi I am in the process of building my first build and I have a question about running a 9mm laser at 2.2A. According to a experiment performed by lazereer on the first thread of the 9mm lasers , he found that the lasers begin to dim out in the 2.2-2.3A region. I was intending on running my...

    laser not turning on

ok so the LM317's arrived today and set everything up . Then I turned on my power supply and YES! the laser is fine. woooo!. I set the resistor to draw a current of 600mA and it was burning through cardboard. However I intead to run it at 2000mA. so i need to buy another driver! I looked at...
