Lava Micro FlexDrive Driver (lavadrive2) fits pens

Actually I did not kill my flexdrive. But my test load seems dead, at least I don't get any numbers when I measure voltage.

Lava Micro FlexDrive Driver (lavadrive2) fits pens

Did I kill my flexdrive? EDIT: I did not kill it yeaaah! EDIT2: My rckstr test load seems dead :C When I was gonna set the pot my head was fucked up so I hooked the driver up to 2x 3.7V batteries in series and got 7.4V I guess. Did I kill the driver? I measure voltage across test load and get...

    New to lasers.....Need help deciding

Get a weak IR laser and use night vision goggles :D That way you can aim at the enemy but they won't be able to see the beam ;)

Lava Micro FlexDrive Driver (lavadrive2) fits pens

Re: Lava Micro FlexDrive Driver (lavadrive2) fits Ok, I tried it and not broken, phew. But say I have it on the 65-100mA range like now and I turn too much, what happens to the mA output? does the mA output max out at 100mA, just that the pot will still be able to turn and break, fysically?

Lava Micro FlexDrive Driver (lavadrive2) fits pens

Re: Lava Micro FlexDrive Driver (lavadrive2) fits I think I may have done something bad! I was thinking as I don't have any volt/ampere/anything/meter I would just turn the pot clockwise, (correct to increase mA?), until max, on the lowest level it would be to about 100mA (perfect for a PHR I...

Ok thanks that made it clear for me. :)

Blu-ray build question (PHR and flexdrive)

I have a Sliver (Cree C3) Stainless-Steel Host (can't link to it, sku.11133 on DX). (seems like the host is the connection between battery negative and led) a PHR diode a flexdrive v4. Now I'm a little confused about soldering, just checking if I got it all correct. Should the negative pin and...

    Polarized glasses. Protection?

Isn't light always polarized horizontally and vertically and nothing more. And if you put two polarized glasses and hold them like 90 degrees they will block 100% of light any way you hold them, + or x, doesn't matter. So won't one polarized pair of glasses block 50% of the light?

Lava Micro FlexDrive Driver (lavadrive2) fits pens

Re: Lava Micro FlexDrive Driver (lavadrive2) fits Hi, I put a preorder on this some time ago, and now I got worried if this driver will work for me. So just to make sure, will this driver and a 3,7V Li-ion cell run a phr diode?
