Hey folks! Was wondering if anyone here uses any online laser CNC cutting services, and what their experience was with them (price, ease of use, shipping speed, etc). Found someone on LPF that does it but he's in Australia, so wondering if there's anything commercial worth looking into in the US...
If the problem is still there at the end of the day, SEE A DOCTOR. It sounds like you may have high sensitivity to light or perhaps something else that may cause it. If you have problems sleeping, mention that to the doctor too. Things like sleep apnea can make you tired all the time and trigger...
That was actually very helpful, thank you. I'll continue my research from there and maybe turn it into a simple tutorial if successful. Still amazed I can't find one on it... seems like the most obvious avenue hobbyists choose to ease into lasers and projectors.
Your projector reference site is...
Thanks Bionic, but that's the type of "circuitry" and amp-building wizardry I was hoping to avoid. ;) I have no idea what a correction amp is or a current sink is for. I'm sure these will grant much better results, but I see guys on youtube doing this with just a single op-amp (though none...
Hey folks,
Pardon the noob question, but search only yielded discussions that got increasingly technical with every post, which didn't do me any good.
What is the simplest/cheapest way to amplify your PC soundcard headphone or line stereo output to drive a couple of X/Y scanners? I'm looking...
Very cool review!! Thank you! Appreciate you including the links throughout too. Seems more like an aqua color than green. Very cool.
Question: what usually causes the artifacts/speckling? Crappy cover lens for the diodes?
Hey guys,
Anyone know of a supplier of small optics that has a good variety of lenses (ie. biconvex, biconcave, asphericals, collimators, cylinders, etc)? I looked into Thorlabs, but getting a varied set of lenses to experiment with wouldn't be very budget-friendly.
I don't mind if they're...
How about getting the dot as small as possible first with optics (aspherical lens or plano convex lens which also seems to be a great way to reduce spherical aberration - ref. in link below), and then passing that thru a collimator and then to the cylinder (line) lens?
Should give you a thinner...
