That would be a good idea if I need to do that. I would hope to have a short enough laser host where the spring is coming out of the laser. I had an old O-like green torch and the host can be unscrewed in the middle exposing the spring and part of the driver.
Does anybody have experience with...
Aixiz has a 800mW OEM and a 350-1000mW. It would be really nice if I could get one that is at least 1.5W. Well if a quality lab lasers can't be that cheap, then I would go back to a regular host, but a cube-shaped one would be good. Small, compact, easy access to connectors inside to attach...
I'm going to bump this. I thought I had somebody making these for me, but I haven't heard anything back. I do think I want lab lasers now. Just a couple of identical, lightweight, small size 2W lab lasers. Can someone build these?
Don't worry HitShane, That cat in the picture is just some stray that wandered into my living room. I think he was already blind though since he wandered in here in the first place. Probably smelled some tuna.
I don't mind...too much. ha I may be updating this review with
some new graphs later. I had a very good one, but my computer
crashed and I forgot to save just my LPM graphs to a flash drive.
Hak, when do you think the 10x beam expanders will be available?
I would get one of those right away.
Distance will be between 6 inches and 3 feet.
I was not aware I could get a laser in lab form lighter than a host and for less than $200.
Are these something that someone can build or are on a site?
I might still want regular hosts though because I may want to use them portable as well
and on...
It is not what you think. It is just part of an arduino project. Lasers will be attached to servos that do all the control. Nevertheless, it doesn't matter all that much what I do with them as long as they are within my specs.
Ok so here is the deal. I need a custom build and here are the specifications I need.
Must be as light as possible, but also have a good duty cycle.
I need these to be able to run off of a wall outlet so I would
like for most of the host to be detachable and have the spring
sticking out for an...
So I have had this laser for a month and it is probably a good
time to review it. I bought this straight from Hakzaw.
Thanks Hak for this and the other goodies that came along with it.
This has the button code and a button for pulse mode.
This is a very cool feature, but I notice...
Re: 2W Polished Stainless Steel SH-032 445nm Blue
Because I need a couple blue lasers where I can easily hook some alligator clips to and run from a circuit off AC power, for a project where I need the lasers to be as light as possible. I currently have a 2W that also has a spring in the cap...
Nobody has any suggestions here? Susie claims she can't help me. I just need a host that will be somewhere around 22mm diameter, end that screws in to existing part at 20mm. Very tight threading... about less than a mm apart.
I have an O-Like 400mW torch I got a couple years back and it is the older design they don't have anymore. So the threading for the end cap has been totally destroyed. Somehow it got cross threaded and it won't budge at all. I have tried vices and pliers and haven't been able to get it off. Now...
