here are the pics anyway :/ this is the board it was on removed from the board , that plastic mount is formed around it the 3 pins , the R isnt visible due to the camera flash being so damn bright

i gutted this diode off of one of those big office printers , it was pointing at a hex mirror turntable thing. anyway i was wondering how i would power it and if id be able to use it on my reprap to cut vinyl ? only markings on it is an R next to the pins PICS ... will add later as my phone is...
