I greatly appreciate all of the feedback, you've cleared up any questions concerning TTL that I had. Concerning the power supply though, I've found numerous power supplies that offer 5VDC with a minimum of 5A, but they all appear to be switching or linear. Daguin: Thanks, I know how dangerous infrared lasers can be (lasers in general). I used to have a 250mw red laser but I sold it because of money issues.
