My laser is overspec by far. It measures about 175mW on fresh lithium batteries. The divergence is great. I thought that at a distance it would appear to be a large beam; however it is very tight over a long distance, tighter than the hulk by far. Burning is great as well, the hulk can burn/pop...
Oh sorry I was replying to the post above it. If you don't like my posts why don't you just unsubscribe from the thread? There's a nice button made for that. Thanks.
Does anyone know of any good, yet inexpensive drivers for a red laser outputting 220mW. Should I just go direct, with no driver? Whats the disadvantage?
That's a pretty good idea. Just find a good size host, and I guess you could really do what you want with it. It might look a little funny in the end LOL.
I am trying to debate which is better. My Shade 5 Welding glasses are much better than my Wicked Lasers safety glasses. I mean I can stare directly at a damn arc with them.
I agree. Wicked Lasers could have talked to their customers much more after the arctic issues, and they still fail to respond to most. They should at least let us know where they are at with everything, I like their lasers a lot, and I would hate to lose their trust.
No it's not in my Youtube Video. My friend tested it with his power meter, and once it was warmed up it was cleanly producing power in the area of 173-177mW, and this is with fresh lithium batteries that combined may have a voltage of a little over 3.0 volts. Not to mention, my friends and I...
