Hey, good choice with the O-Like, their quality still seems pretty good. I have the 1.2 watt Tactical and i am very happy with it and their customer service. I have also heard some bad things about Rayfoss lately so i decided to order a laser from them (200mW focusable 650nm) to do my own...
I am starting a new projects and i need a 405nm diode of at least 200mW. Unfortunately i have a diode budget of $40. Is there anywhere i can get one for that price? Preferably a site that also sells drivers/modules because i hope to purchase everything from the same website.
thanks:)
I recommend the second one. It looks to have a much better heatsink than the others and it looks to have a sturdier design overall. It's not waterproof, but you should not use your laser under water anyway (Laser radiation reflecting back into the diode is bad and shortens the lifetime).
I'm looking to purchase a handheld 650nm laser with an output power of at least 200mW and i would like some of your opinions on what i should buy. I have a pretty low budget of under 120 USD.
Features I would prefer:
>200mW
Focusable
Low divergence
Runs off 18650 Lithium-Ion rechargeable...
Ok, well...This is my first review, so i hope i do well.
Shipping & processing:
Ok, i ordered my laser on 6/13/11 and it was shipped on the 19th, so no complaints there. Arrived at my house in north-east Florida on the 30th. The box had been marked "Flashlight for gift, $20" which seemed to...
Thank you for your reply:) I will look into DL and survivallaser's goggles, but i would prefer to order them from the same company as to combine the shipping costs and overall simplify things. What do you think of O-Like's 370nm - 560nm goggles for $19.99? I'm assuming that they cover 445nm.
Hello, I am considering purchasing the O-Like 1.2w Tactical and i have a few questions/concerns that Google/Youtube couldn't answer for me.
1. How does it's power compare to 1 watt lasers such as the Spartan, Rayfoss, and Arctic.
2. Which end of the battery do you insert first? there seems to...
