yes that's very true.
I read some old threads about people who own the 0sram 488 and they usually claim it is like a pure blue with no hint of green it.
After firing up my diode I knew this was not the case with mine.
So I guess my diode ended up to being more in the 490-range.
It's truly an...
Hi everyone,
I recently bought the GH04850B2G (488nm) and the GH05030C2LM (505nm)
After hooking the 505 diode to my driver according to the specsheet the LD didn't turn on
Since I knew that this diode is case positive I just switched the negative feed to the other insulated pin and it worked...
Re: Is this thing actually 515 nm?
The cheapest direct green diodes you can buy right now, are the 0sram PL515 which are 515nm, so it could be possible that this laser uses that diode
Re: A New Laser 66 Build for a member
Yep should be somewhere in this range, I think some of the old projector diodes were a bit lower wavelength than the average one
Re: A New Laser 66 Build for a member
Looks good ! :)
Do you see a color difference between this one and the other 450nm you have ? Always thought this diode is a little more in the purple spectrum
Yo guys,
Just wanted to show of the builds I've been working on the past few months (consider that waiting for the parts counts as working time too lol)
From left to right:
First one uses an Oclaro 700mw diode running at 1400ma (~900mw) from an 4x AMC7135 board with an 3 element 650nm coated...
