i had one of these it is an IR diode, try power it up and look at it with an infrared camera.

ok so i had this toshiba a200 that had broken, so i decided to pull the cd drive out witch is, a V000101750 - Toshiba Satellite A200, A205 Series Super-Multi Laptop HD-DVD & DVD±RW Drive. would it be any good, and how would i set it up.

ok so i decided to make a laser out of an old DVD player, model-VUE CD RW VUE-336. the thing is, i dont know how to hook it up to power. or how to make it work. can someone please help me.:bowdown: f
