[Help] Problem with a 50mW Green Laser

Yes, you should be able to get a refund or at least a new laser.

How do I know I'm not getting scammed?

Everything above 5mW can potentially damage your eyes. A 100mW laser is a class IIIb laser, meaning that direct eye contact will damage your eyes either temporarily (if you're lucky) or permanently (if you're unlucky). A reflection from such things as mirrors can damage your eye just as bad. If...

Need advice for LOWER power starter laser pointer

The DX / YourLasers lasers I owe is fine, most of them are around the written output. The true laser is actually true, and it won't damage your eyes unless you use some kind of magnifying glass and stare on it for a very long time.

    LASER Diode - IR Problem

I said 660nm red didn't emit IR. Green lasers does normally emit some IR.

[Help] Problem with a 50mW Green Laser

Does it smell burned or like acid? It might me overheated and thereby broken.

30 mW Green laser for 10 bucks?

No, it's legit alrigt. But it's not very stabile, and it might be overpowered.

    Hey i just joined!

I recommend lasers from www.yourlasers.com In general, red lasers are cheaper than green ones. If you want to burn, you need a laser that is focusable. May I suggest a cheap and good red...

    LASER Diode - IR Problem

Well, yes and no. In 660 nm lasers there should be no infared light, but the infared light emitted from green lasers is actually red; meaning that red lasers with a suspiciously low or high nm probably are somewhat emitting infared light. Remember that DPSS lasers (around 677 nm) emits IR...

[Help] Problem with a 50mW Green Laser

The red dot is extremely dangerous to your eyes. This is almost pure-IR light emitted from the diode, which a crystal inside your laser should turn green and visible. Please, use this only when the dot has turned green or your eyes may take damage from even looking at the dot!

    LASER Diode - IR Problem

Most lasers produces some IR, but if your laser isn't very high powered (500mW+) it shouldn't be a problem. I can't tell from the information you gave me if the laser you're looking at will produce IR, but there's no need for a filter if it's not too powerfull.

    I think I get it.

Need advice for LOWER power starter laser pointer

You definetly want a green laser! A laser over 5mW can damage your eyes if starring directly into it for too long, 5mW should be the maximum. A red lasers (5mW) beam won't be visible at night, but a 5mW green will be - especially when a little foggy. May I suggest this laser: True Green Laser...

How do I know I'm not getting scammed?

Well, since I have that particular laser, I feel like being the best at answering your questions. 1: Ankaka is fine. My laser was shipped en a few days, and everything went smooth and fine. 2: I have measured the laser, and its output is 93-102 mW - pretty good for a laser that cheap. Of...

Importing a green laser module in Australia?

All packages goes through the Australian customs, but only a few percentages are getting checked. Basically, the packages are all going to get scanned / X-rayed, and if the customs finds any of them suspicious, they will open the packages to see if the content is allowed. It's obviously harder...
