Hey In some arc lamp pumed yag lasers DI water is used to cool the lamps as the water comes in contact with the lamp electods/connections DI water is used as it has very low conductivity . As said above the water dosent saty pure for long so the cooling system/filtering has a bit the re cleans...

Hi I think he used a ZVS driver its a circuit using 2 mosfets and 4 resistors and 4 diodes and a cap tank and ferrite core inductor , iron powder cores dont work too well , the zvs needs DC and a fair bit of current changing the value of inductor changes output current and voltage some flybacks...

Also 515 nm and 10600 nm i know they arnt in pointers but they are cool , cni do 2mw 500nm and 50mw 515nm lol :D

473nm (Blue) 593.5nm (Yellow) These are my best ones i like but 500 nm would be cool in a pointer

Hello Im farly new to lasers , i was given a green laser with no optics it has a fully working 500mw 808nm diode and TEC i am going to see if i can get green again and thought id post pics of it , Im new to this forum too . Pics of green photons will be on here soon once i get the crystals...
