Sanwu 60mW 488nm Pocket Laser Review

Well the more difficult issue is that lithium batteries aren't normally shipped to the UK due to postal regulations. The regulations would only allow lithium batteries to be shipped with or contained in the devices. I would have bought it from Amazon or DX if they did if possible as they are...

Sanwu 60mW 488nm Pocket Laser Review

It's true, I just realised you can focus the lens. I was going to unscrew the battery cap and I realised I was turning the other end.

    Hello from Hampshire, England!

Hi James, Nice to see other people from the UK! Have a look at my review on Sanwu 488nm review to get an idea of the colour. To me at first this looked more green than blue for some reason but now strangely it looks more blue than green. I think the only logical step is to get at least Red...

Sanwu 60mW 488nm Pocket Laser Review

Hi all, Here is a review of the Sanwu "Pocket" laser, the 60mW 488nm laser pointer. Packaging: The goods came in an anti-static bag, which was contained in 3 layers of bubble wrap enveloppes. The anti static bag contains a microfibre cloth, battery and the laser. Unfortunately the battery was...

Super old member passing by and saying hi.

Hi, I remember your name, really cool to see you stayed here! Thank you for letting me know about JLasers. It's true that I had mostly positive experiences with members, and the best lasers I own come from them. I know that LPF used to be very selective of whose websites they chose to...

Super old member passing by and saying hi.

Thank you for your replies! I am currently looking for more exotic colours rather than raw power. At the moment I am looking into Sanwu 488nm pocket series... back then I was jealous of people with their argon lasers putting out those pretty blue colours but now it's possible to get so many...

Super old member passing by and saying hi.

Hello, It has been a while. I don't even remember the last time I bought a laser here. For one I am also surprised that my account still exists here. Just coming here to say that watching randomly Styropyro's videos sort of rekindled my interest a bit in lasers. I just went back to amazon to...

EDIT : Optics question / PICTURES ADDED, because a thread is worthless w/o pics

EDIT : Now need help with optics. So I went on trial and error, asking help to PhD students who provided me some decent tools, because there was apparently no one that could help me through the internet, apparently. Skip this part if you are in a hurry (story of my life)...

EDIT : Optics question / PICTURES ADDED, because a thread is worthless w/o pics

Hello everyone, I'd like to repair this laser from LikeItBright. OPTICS QUESTION : SKIP THIS POST (If you want to save time), AND GO TO THE NEXT REPLY. However, it seems that he is majorly inactive by now (his last post was in 2010, although the last time he was here was just about a month...

Does anyone sell "glasses made to see infrared lasers"?

While indeed you cannot see much (it looks completely dark from the outside), you can actually see something but I doubt very far in the IR in any case (you probably wouldn't see 1064nm in any case). Someone needs to spectrometer what goes through these two combined, I'd like to see what these...

Does anyone sell "glasses made to see infrared lasers"?

I think it is possible to see "passively" IR by combining the red (blue tinted) and green (red tinted) lasershades. (ones I used were from WL). In any case, I cannot guarantee that this is safe, and it probably isn't.

Do you have the appropriate heat-sink ? (Don't know how to say it in French) Est-ce que tu as un "dissipateur thermique" approprie' ? Il faut bien que ca rentre... le module ne restera jamais immobile et au frais dans ces conditions.
