    NUBM44 6W+ 450nm Laser Diode

Hello. Looking at the pot in question, could the circuit be sensitive to current spikes as the pot is turning? Ed.

Just had time to try taking some "beam shots"..............I really need a decent camera....and a decent cameraman. Which I'm definitely not! The pictures are so bad I'm embarrassed to show them, so I'll wait until I can get better pictures.

I'm going to start tests in a week. But to start with, I will be using the 3.5W 450nm Laser Diode NDB7A75. If it works out, I'll swap it out for the 6W+ NUBM44 450nm Laser Diode..... And keep my fingers crossed.....and out of the beam path! Ed.

Hello. Yes, I machined the interior pockets for the component assemblies and used an angle grinder to rough out the shape, then finished it with a set of files, then different grades of sand paper. It's made out of billet 70/76/T6 aluminum. Ed.
