    Need lens help for 405nm

Its called three element because the glass material is composed of a combination of 3 different compounds afaik. The g-1 and g-2 are single element lenses. The single will give you more output (up to 20% I think) but its much more expensive. You also get a finer dot with the 3 element. Both...

    405nm Diode question

Ah... there is an electrical connection from host to heatsink to module to diode? Didn't know that lol... but then again the case pin is rarely used except in these drivers which I've never used before. Thanks so much again DTR - I pmed flaminpyro, hopefully he will have some!

    Need lens help for 405nm

Yea I can't find anything 405nm on that site lol - if you live outside the US, maybe that's why you can see them. Good luck!!

    405nm Diode question

I'm only familiar with linear drivers currently.... the thing that confuses me about the flexdrives is the difference in wiring. I know that the case pin is wired to the negative input on the driver, but I do not get how that creates a complete circuit unless you make contact with the case also...

    405nm Diode question

Great! As far as voltage is concerned, does it take two cr123a's or just one 18650 @ 400mA? I know it can depend on the driver, but what input voltage am I looking at for this diode?

    Yup I can wait!

    405nm Diode question

ah I see now - thanks DTR. placed my order :)

    405nm Diode question

ok... I'll take your word on it although I dont see how they could be that much bigger and still have it fit into an aixiz module ;) thx

    405nm Diode question

Wouldn't the glass element fit inside of that housing though? Or are they different sizes?

    405nm Diode question

I didn't realize there were two lenses before (but makes sense now). I merely was seeing how to take the lenses out. I found the G-1 and G-2 for 405 on Creative Technology - 405-G1 & 405-G-2 Lens Page Creative Technology - Your source for diode lasers and laser modules at green, red and other...

    405nm Diode question

I figured out how to get the other piece out. Just give the piece a tap lol. So are they all two piece lenses then?

    Need lens help for 405nm

Yea it redirects me to Page Not Found - China Brands,China Wholesale,China Wholesaler,China Supplier,China Store,Cosplay Costumes,Drop Shipping,Free Shipping,Drop Ship,Unlocked Phones ah well. Well let me welcome you to LPF - I'm fairly new here as well! I've learned just a small chunk of what...

    405nm Diode question

Thanks for the fast response DTR - I'll probably be ordering one of those diodes from you soon! ;) I know the G-1 lens has a single layer coating and the G-2 a double layer. Is there any reason to pick one over the other? Do you sell the 405-G-2 lens by itself? I've also noticed that there are...

    405nm Diode question

Hello, I'll be expanding into the 405nm next, I just do not know what output I want yet. So far I have only been able to find 100mW and 200mW diodes. Does anyone know where there are higher rated diodes available for purchase? Also, how different are the 200mW and 100mW diodes in terms of beam...

    Need lens help for 405nm

That link doesn't work... you can purchase AR coated glass lenses for the 405/445nm diodes. Or you can get the lens pre-installed into a threaded assembly that goes into a standard Aixiz module (theres lots of sellers of these but ex: 405/445 Glass Lens - $6.25 : Mohgasm!, Because it feels so...
