    5watt green laser? Really?

Cigarette in video smokes like it burned by 100-150 mW laser

    12x can light toothpick!

No. It is my homemade boost driver. I use same driver (at higher current) for my 445. I kill my 6x not long ago when I tried to extract it from Aizix module :( Thanks! :)

    12x can light toothpick!

It is done in semi-finished style :) I think I'm lucky, as my 6x ran at 260 mA long time although other's diodes died at 180 mA very fast :)

    12x can light toothpick!

I tried to cut the toothpick with my 12x, but I got the fire kiN08qebOtY

    >1w portable 445 laser with homemade driver (images and video)

No. There are several laser forums in Russia and they do group buys like here. I get the 2 diodes from A130 at the price of only $43 for each Thanks :yh:

Yes, it works continuously about one hour without overheat!

My copper heatsink :) LD from A130 was placed in copper heatsink (see at photos) and works now at 1.3A The beam focused to infinity (not to small dot) burns carton (2 side) in 20 seconds Video at YouTube How I inserted aixiz module into heatsink :) Original heatsink: Heatsink improvement...

    Switching driver for 445nm diodes

    erdabyz, thanks for the advice!

    Switching driver for 445nm diodes

I planned to use this driver with bright LED not LD. Now I plan to use more power chips for "driving" blue laser. Even 1A is not enough for me. I need minimum 1.3A :)

    Switching driver for 445nm diodes

No. I have only photo of my driver :) (inductor is on other side of the board) It is too small and overheats very quickly at 1A :(
