    I was actually able to get mine to light a match now. I fully charged my battery and now its working fine. Maybe you just have to get lucky with them. Expected since they are so cheap.

    Laser noobie

    Hello everyone, Im new here and to lasers. I recently bought a 5mw green laser and decides to buy a 100mw one week later. Now my main goal is to light a match and have sadly failed. I posted something about that over in the green laser section if any of you have any ideas ＼(^o^)／

    So after putting a black dot on red match I was still only able to make it smoke, i am still only using 3v battery. Can battery be the issue here?

    I will attempt both things you mentioned. Any good disposable batteries maybe in places suchs as target, frys, walmart?

    Like the title says I recently got a 100 mw laser and I can focus it so it can burn through a black plastic bag but not to light a match. The match head is red and I was thinking maybe it had to be a black match head? Any ideas? Heres the link to the laser...
