It's burled maple. I also have some madrona wood vaneer. It's a shame he's not building hosts anymore. They were really nice. But I understand. For the amount of work he put into them what he charged was really cheap.

I still have a couple hosts that I'm waiting to build. I just stich ed this leather grip onto it. Ive used a bunch of different things for grip materials from wood vaneer to carbon fiber but I thought this would look cool. I'm putting this screen in it once we get all the bugs worked out...

I'm trying to get some new diodes like that. I've been told there are new high power green diodes coming as well. It's just a waiting game at this point. I'm not convinced the 08 is anything special yet. But if it turns out to be a powerhouse I'll definitely grab a block.

Thanks I appreciate that. All the ones I tested hit 1 5 watts or better. The ones I have now came from a brand new projector.

This is one of the heatsinks I drilled. It came out pretty good. It does a really good job keeping things cool.

15/32 is exactly 11.9mm so it couldn't be any better. I'm glad you like the copper core one those are pretty nice. I have some really big heatsinks that look pretty cool also. I've polished some up and they look great. I'll be posting them for sale on this thread.

Im using a heatpipe cooler but I cut all the fins off and replumbed it for liquid cooling. I also unsoldered the plate because it wasn't soldered as well as I wanted. So I loaded it up with solder so I would conduct better. I thought about using the heatpipes as they were but liquid will be...
