Tell us more about that switch. It's a screw that needs to be screwed in and out to turn it on and off?

Yes kinda like that you need to screw the screw :) into the battery cap to turn it on and off (The Screw closes the connection with the negative pole of the battery
and makes the whole case negative which in this case turns the laser on)

That output o_O.
A pretty rare 445 module amiright? :D

Yeah most diodes will do just around 2100mW @2A some may even reach 2600mW you don't know :D

Your pictures are still to big...
I need to shift almost 2 screens to the right and back
again for every line of text I read...:cryyy:

As was posted in Post #4 above the maximum picture
size on the Forum should be no more than 800 X 600
Pixels....

The Pics are in 1024x768 what kind of screen resolution do you have on your monitor ? They look fine without shifting screens right and back on my Monitor ! But I'll resize those Pics to 800x600 if I get a free minute ...

You must have had a free minute since you just opened a new
Thread that has the same Pic Size issues...

Maybe there is a language barrier or you just don't understand...
The recommended size for posting pictures on the Forum is
800 X 600 pixels.
This assures that ALL the Forum Members can see the pictures
without needing to scroll to the Right and Left for every line of
Text in a post.

Not ALL Forum Members have huge computer monitors..

Resizing your pics to 800 X 600 pixels makes it much more
pleasant to read your Posts for ALL Forum Members....

Works fine for me, even on my tiny phone screen they are fine.

Are you sure you've got your web browser zoomed right? You can press control and minus to zoom out on the web browser.

Nothing wrong at my end...
I'm not just talking about me... I can easily skip over
these annoying over sized pic Threads..

It has nothing to do with the physical size of your screen.
It has to with picture resolution...

I've been using the same 1024 X 768 screen size since
I've been registered here on multiple different computers.
It has always worked fine...
I'm know for a fact that a lot of members use this screen
resolution. It makes it easy to see by tired eyes...

There is no way I'm getting a 3rd set of glasses made just
to see this Thread...

If new members insist on using large size pics then those
Threads/Post will not be read by all...

BTW... Zooming the Screen to get one page without the
scroll bars makes the text unreadable because it is so
small... been there done that...

It would be a lot easier for all LPF Members if the OP resized
his pics to the LPF accepted standard 800 X 600 Pixels...

Very nice! When do we get to see that anodizing???

I have some Problems with anodizing the heatsink because the diode with module is already pressed and glued permanently in the heatsink with a special thermal plaster :( So anodizing could kill the diode ...
But in the near future I'll do another build for my friend with the same heatsink and then I'll be sure to anodize it :D
