trencheel303: if you check my January rainbow thread I've posted an extra pic in one of the comments comparing them three green wavelengths, where the colour differences are more real as seen with naked eyes:).
There were 2 reasons I haven't used 1W 808nm:
1) Safety. To shoot a rainbow of 100-200-300mW surely is a fun, but the eyes are what I care most for. Wearing OD7+ glasses covering the spectrum of 405nm-445-455nm-515nm-520nm-532nm was OK, but with the two reds on - 638nm and 660nm - it wasn't easy, closed eyes and/or looking through live mode screen with goggles on Nikon D5200 did the trick. Imagine invisible 1W of infrared on top of that... not easy to do, when it comes to safety.
2) I didn't have an extra 16340 battery left:p. All were used in the rest of the Skylaser line... will have to buy more, eventually:thinking:.

Tmack: Point well made:beer:. Especially breathing condensation trick makes a real wavelengths mixture magic:D.

Just a recap shot that reveals the actual set-up:). The dull grey wall turned purple:shhh:.

I'm waiting for the film to come back from the developing lab, if any of them are proper decent I'll post them.

This was a particularly good night. The room smoked up real good with incense and the Rigel was absolutely on fire. It was cold in the room so I was getting epic duty cycles from the Rigel and it ran real hot and real bright, as you can see the beam was almost brighter than the 80mW 650...

I'll be getting my 635 soon (thanks Gismo) which will help the rainbow and also balance out the contrast a bit and make the Rigel look more yellow. It's really very golden but looks "dirty" in these pics.

@danoz7
So, in general, I get the impression that feeding answers to questions easily answered using the search function is frowned upon, but I don't want you to think people here are unwilling to help.:shhh: If you search for "how to post pictures" there will be some more useful results, but this picture posting tutorial might be a good place to start. Welcome to LPF :wave:

Wow what a great collection! Ever think of hosting a laser light show? (with of course safety measures >:D)

I posted pics earlier but they were mobile phone pics, here's the real deal taken on film

it was done before my 650 died so exclude the red line on the far right and its contemporarily accurate:

just a breakdown of wavelengths with no duplication:
the one that looks like 473 is actually 405, that's film for you, it loves UV
