Seeing as I missed my chance on buying that last Ehgemus host, I decided to mix my cheap laser host with a 303 and...

Got some strong competition going on with Ehgemus now. He might need to step his game up. :na:

In all seriousness, I could drill these up and actually make this a host. Only the top part doesn't fit since its threaded in a different way.

I used to use a lot of 3/4 inch round bar stock with the utrafire or any flashlight that holds 18650 or 16340 batteries.

With a little sandpaper, a hacksaw and a 12mm drill you can make an endplug/heatsink and use paper or plastic bottle cap cuttings and a brass paper fastener to put a battery contact in the center and fit the sink to the housing for the ground., then use a disc that you can hand turn down for the top end stop and it's that easy, you can do anything you set your mind to with very little if you are determined.

I have already built dozens of HH with 532 modules and 12mm modules, my point is that 3/4 inch round bar stock is a close fit for most 18650 housings such as ultrafire and with just a little sanding and drilling a hole for the module you can use it as a quick easy heatsink, simply substitute an 18350 or 16340 in place of the 18650 and you can run the heatsink into the head if you want, make a cover or contact button, simple stuff. The point is 3/4 inch is usually just slightly tight so a light sanding will do nicely and you can make it all a friction fit, but if you jam it together hard it will not easily come apart, sand until you have an easy fit that's barley snug and polish with metal polish, that makes it work well.
