Thank you Alaskan for the reply but can't compete with what you ever built your good buddy.

Yes Cowboy that's what is going in it next a 520 NDG7A75 1+w. That;s what i also was thinking it would look great with a Green diode in. You read my mind....Thank you for looking and your input.

Rich:)

Would a work in progress be able to be counted?

I think so, what are you putting in it? How is it being made? Is that 3D printing or milled?

Here's my last configuration of a Mace of Doom host with a telephoto lens tube converted into a large 4 inch diameter beam expander with a 5 watt output NUBM44 445nm laser diode in it.

This is somewhat similar to others I've configured before, so it might appear to be the same thing. The focal range has enough movement to allow a close in focus of just a few feet away to produce a small spot of just a few millimeters wide for burning, or adjusted all the way to infinity for long throw (to use a flashlight term) spotting of cloud layers. With this setup I was able to see a spot on a 8,000 foot high cloud layer the other night, although difficult to discern with this wavelength of blue, it was there. I've found that cloud layers up to 5,000 feet high are easy to see the spot on, but much higher and the spot is just difficult to see without binoculars due to the distance alone.

Im thinking I'm putting a kryton groove inside of it with the tip sticking out with the gitd threaded tip(250mW 638nm). The cool part is though it doesn't have to be permanent so I can make it work with any pointer. I'm going to be working on including a arduino Nano(for sounds), and a safety mechanism(for duh, might even just put a cap over the tip). It's also going to hopefully run something off of the battery pack that goes in the mag holder, maybe the laser?

Oh and it's 3D printed! I just started painting it! I'm also going to make a veteran ranger helmet+mask with the laser protective goggles integrated! I give myself a year or bust😂

Nice, you have some 3D printing skills, what kind of program did you design it in which was fed into the printer? That sounds great you can put just about any pointer in it!

The coolest part is the 3D files are directly from the game files, cleaned up and sliced to make it managinlr to print, fallout mod manager and sketch up was all I used.
