I have ended up with a lot of hosts that are waiting to be used and figured there has to be lots of others with empty hosts awaiting some action that we haven't gotten to yet do to various reasons. So, here's a chance to show what you have awaiting a heartbeat:)

Here's the ones driving me crazy. I don't do well having empty hosts around. Need $ to build though.
I really like the Dorcy unit. Haven't seen anyone with one of those. It came from Sears years ago and uses a Ni-Cd 4.8V and the center part is a ring that screws down to reveal a charging port for it.

The green in-between the cooling fins on the Dorcy are actually large green o-rings I had.

The 2 on the left are all brass and they take a 9mm diode pressed into an inner piece. Couple all copper shorties. Silver ones are the silver 501b cone heads from Moh (Budgetbeams) with custom heat-sinks. I've already built 2 cone heads that you can get a glimpse of here: http://laserpointerforums.com/f50/few-inexpensive-red-builds-94811.html

Gold, silver and a black pen. I didn't wipe them down before the pic:

Well when someone can take a pic it would be nice to see them. I can't be the only one who has a host begging to grow up to be a real boy... er I mean laser:)

Why do I keep getting a 403 forbidden error when trying to post pictures? I have to create a post without them, then go back and edit it to post pictures.

Here are all of my Ehgemus hosts awaiting build. I'm itching to build them, just have had too many other projects going on, and I just recently moved.

Note: The ray gun in back is a laser host. The Glock in front is not. Lol. It's my friend's, and we are working on a high power laser for it. It's the only picture on my phone with all of the hosts in one picture. I'm not one of those "oh, look at all my guns" kinda guys. Lol.

Lol. It took me clicking on the link to get it. Hilarious. I've actually never worn safety glasses while shooting guns, but wouldn't operate my lasers without them. Only exception is if I'm outside at night and there isn't anything around to reflect the beam.

I have never had a 403 forbidden error when posting pictures, you shouldn't be having a problem, I see you are using photobucket as I do, you must be doing something wrong.

Shooting ranges require safety glasses, I thought all of them did.

I see the Glock has a laser too. How many rounds does that magazine hold?

I am posting them the same way I've been posting them since I joined. It works if I create a post, then edit it with the exact same text that I attempted to post originally.

I've only shot at a range a couple of times, and it was an outdoor range that had no one there running it. Just a public range out in the forest that anyone could go shoot at without paying or anything. Almost all of my shooting has been on my own land or my family's land way out in the sticks.

The Glock actually has a nice Streamlight currently. We're building a laser for it. That mag is a 33 round mag. Great for concealed carry.

Some really nice units you have there. I'm extra curious about that one on the left with the acrylic (or whatever) top.
I have 2 different colored XML-T6 like you show and a few of those 501B's. One of the T6 is that color and the other is more of a bronze. I believe they make a black one too but unsure where you can get it. Did you get those things from Moh? Great deals there at budgetbeams. It's sad that things are so slow selling now though. He's thinking about not offering his kits which are a great bargain too. Bought a few because I couldn't get the parts cheaper anywhere else. Just ordered another one of the screw down T6 9mm heat-sinks.
I can guarantee you there's lots of members with hosts awaiting builds like us. Interested in the new 465nm more than anything else right now but he's also testing a bunch of other diodes so who knows what may show up and I'm not privy to any insider info other than what might show up in the Vets section but I would not release that information without permnission.

I've got some extra airsoft ammo if he needs some! :D

I think it's the polymer that makes it look kinda like an airsoft gun. That's a big reason I'm not a fan of Glock. They just look very generic, and I prefer guns with as little plastic as possible. Like I said, that's my friend's. This is one of mine:

Back on topic, I am about to build one of these hosts. Now I just have to decide on which one. I want to build the ray gun host so bad, but I can't decide which diode I want to use. I think I'm going to use a PL520 on top for the sight. I just can't decide what color I want to see when I pull the trigger. I'm thinking probably the NUBM07E. I bet I can put together a nice steampunk looking beam expander for it.

Yea, all of those in the top picture are from Ehgemus except the 510 threaded heatsink. The acrylic is one he just recently built. I bought it the day he posted it along with the ray gun.

I'm building one of the NUBM07E diodes in one of those MX900 hosts tonight or tomorrow night, and I actually just received another NUBM07E diode from DTR today. So many lasers, such little time to build! There are worse problems, though. :D

Who out there will claim they have the most lasers? Not parts inventory but lasers that lets say 90% complete. I want to see true laser maniac in their numbers, its so wild that some members just cant have enough lol:cool:

See this thread: http://laserpointerforums.com/f48/my-laser-collection-show-yours-32898.html Your answer is on the last 2 pages. There was also someone else that thought he had the most lasers but it was in a different thread, I think it was the guy that got a glass display case for his lasers. I don't remember who it was and now I can't find the thread, does anyone remember?

Pi, I think that was jander6442's collection; it's in this thread, "All hail the King".
I think smeerworst has his large collection in a glass case also.
