Hello everyone.

Does this host fit a normal green laser or like the C6 it can't be properly built?

Also, does someone know why this 501B is so different than the Ultrafire 501B we're used to see? I find it really cool.

As i told you via PMs, you can get a 532nm module to fit in almost any host. The module is 11.9mm and the heat sinks in these host are meant for a 12mm module so YES they will fit. However the problem you run into is how far out the front will the module stick. Slightly confused why you are asking this question when I answered it at least 2 or 3 times to you last night via PM.

To sum it up; a 532nm module will fit in either the SR, C6, 501b or similar laser. Also good luck finding a true 5mW module to put in it. If Blord said he can build one, then go with him if you dont feel comfortable building your own.

EDIT: just to prove my point, check out THIS thread. EVERY one of the lasers posted by Pman are 532nm modules inside various hosts and as ive said, most are way over the stated 5mW spec. I dont think he has received one 5mW module

Last night I understood you meant that about the C6 and not this one. Maybe I misunderstood what you said. Anyways, in this thread I'm asking if it fits as in the image, not having the module protruding far out the host head.

And yes, I will be buying a custom one from Blord as soon as he returns from vacation. We have discussed terms before he left and he really seems like a reputable laser builder.

How about my other question:

This 501b host is different since it is a Sky Ray host and not an Ultrafire 501b as labeled (aka its a knock off of the sky ray host)

imagelibrary.php

EDIT: Only way you will get the module to not stick out of the host is if you only use 1x 16340 battery. if you use two 16340s then it will stick out
