Could somebody confirm regular 26650 flashlight threadings for me. I wondering am I getting pitch right for 26650 battery tube (M31 x 1.25).

-Or is it just my gauge..

Any help would be much appreciated!

Hi AD,
Looks ok the gauge is sitting deep in the profile, Your OD at the top of the threads are you Major Diameter before threading.

As Lifetime said, your 1.25 gauge looks to be a real good fit on that thread; you'll probably notice that if you try the pitch on either side of the 1.25mm pitch, it will be a worse fit. :)

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think that their is a standard thread pitch for a "26650" flashlight, I think you may find a slight variation between manufacturers.
You may find a 1.50, a 1.25, or even a fine 1.00 pitch on that size host.

Hi,
yes as BT said sometimes the pitches are deviated from different manufacturers . And there is also a 0.5 fine pitch also.

Yep, you'll tend to see a lot of the 0.5mm, and the 0.75mm pitches in optical components like lenses and beam expanders.

I have doubts that my gauge is wrongly labeled. That's why I'm asking. If the number would be 1mm or 1.5mm -then I could easily buy it.

Since Metric ISO standard usually skips M31 size -1.25mm pitch for M31 sounds even more extraordinary.

So if anyone have 26650 flashlight and gauge

-please could you look and tell what number you got?

EDIT:

Found this :

Just looking my Yezl Y3 tube and according my gauge it's 1.25
Now I doubt even more my gauge labels

Hi,AD..
The XM900 takes 2-26650's i'll check that out tonight but dontknow how that will help when different manufacturers have different threading on their products.
