Howdy all, school has started for me so i've been abit busy. Still working on calibration. Our school labs got a new newport 1916 which is a nice LPM that i'm hoping to do some more calibration on. Trying to go for something abit more accurate than an Ophir 20C-A-1-Y. Not going to release this before its ready and properly calibrated against a real meter. However, looks like by then it might be abit too late ;)

This guy could probably go up 3W+ . Sadly though, I don't have many high powered lasers to test this with. How high were you thinking?

Well 3.5W would be ideal. Since these 9mm diodes can output 3W+. I would of bought a laserbee 2.5W but my ehgemus is likely going over that so i would need another lpm.. Probably ophir or something.

I am willing to pay quite a bit more if you get it to read higher powers fast :tinfoil:

And for calibration. Buy 1x 9mm diode from dtr and 1x massive lab heatsink. and a variable STABLE driver ;) you will have a cool laser and something to calibrate with.

Good job we LOVE progress!
