RHD, I am so envious of those builds :p It seems like you just have lasers lying around everywhere! If only I had the money to do things like that :(

Nice find!

They even sell some type of cooling system that attach to it and in a very small package. Iam going nuts looking for it because i cant remember what it was called.

DTR Have you found a way to get 30A to it.

No my bench will only give 5A and the power brick out of the A140 does right about 10A. That is about it for what I can provide to it.:cryyy:

What about Direct Drive. Your the king of Big Cells, any out there that cane let it pull 30A.?

Iam intrested in getting one o f the Green LEDs that you purchased but the 1800LM Red version:

I couldn't believe it either. But I have some SL 1.4s approaching 1.7W with a standard lens using the latest A-series diodes.

Maybe they have old stock left over and they are mixing in the old with the new. Maybe they have old stock left over and they are mixing in the old with the new. This could be why we are still see average diodes.

They actually go all the way up to 36A in the datasheet
I'd love to get my hands on one of those...

Angelos this is excellent! Also RHD you have some killer efficient ones! Can't wait to see Angelos' build and it's max output...

The best part about this guys is that these diodes' output will only increase with later and later model projectors if we continue in this direction. That or they'll stick more diodes in them as RHD mentioned.

To be honest, I think it's quite likely that future KasEO projectors are going to drop blue laser diodes as the light source.

In the H-Series, they've already dropped blue laser diodes as a blue light source. They're ONLY using them to trigger the greem phosphor disk. They have LEDs for Blue and Red. I think it is only a matter of time before they go LED for the green also.

That's too bad. I thought that 4 watt 450nm laser diode that was invented a year ago was speculated to go into a projector, may not have been a Kaseo however.
