Could you immagine if they didn't stock them anymore? Prices would go skyrocket high...

I second that.. They're one of the best $200 spent so far!!

OP: Don't worry sometime at this time of the month their listings expire, Keep an eye out they will be relisted very soon..

Or PM cclen1 at fleabay | seller, He's got the best sensors so far!
 
Oh I got mine last week, it shoud be delivered tomorrow. Anyhow I know they will soon be up again but I was thinking what would happen if they didn't ..... :o

You need to understand that those OPHIR sensors on
eBay are NOS surplus and are not sold new directly
from OPHIR.

When the surplus supply dries up you will need to pay
big $$$ to get them directly from OPHIR.

We had talked to OPHIR a while back and were told that
we could buy them for ~$350ea in large quantities at
that time.

How can you say that... They are all the same OPHIR 20c
surplus heads on eBay.

The only ones I would question are the ones sold on the
Forums that may or may not have been tampered with.

Yeah me too... If the NOS sensors are gone than whoever has an ophir will hold to it as it was gold.

I contacted the company on ebay to ask them a few weeks back about how many they had left. When I contacted them the listing said 1 left and they responded by saying we only have 8 left in stock and are unsure when or if we can ever get more in stoxk. They updated the listing to say 8 left. Once they are gone they are gone. Purchased mine last week and it looks like they only had 3 left last night. They could have all sold and the rest of the worl is now screwed. Muahahahahahaha

They are either all sold out for food or he still has 3 that need to be relisted. BTW I didnt leak this info before I bought mine in the slim chance people rushed to buy them before I bought mine. I wanted to wait until I was 1 day away from arriving back home so I didnt have to transport it on a long drive home or have it waiting outside my house for a week.

There are other ophirs out there for under $250 new and used but ill have to dig through my search history to find them. If you search for them you will find them. Fleabay was just thr simplest place to buy them. I was also right on they have 3 units left but they may have ended their listing to cover their 10 day DOA policy. Three have sold within the last week and they nees to hold 3 for 10 days incase mine or the other 2 arrive DOA. Mine shoukd be at my house now :)
