Im looking for a source to buy 17mm round PCB contact boards. Essentially, I want a driver board without the components so that I can press fit it into my heatsink and pick up the positive from my battery and negative from the sink. Is there such a thing? All I need is two spots for the negative and positive wires going to a driver. A positive contact spring on the board would be a plus, too.

I've looked at cheap drivers to desolder and driver kits without the components installed yet. But I have yet to find a board solely to wire to for direct contact. Hopefully, someone knows where to find such an animal;)

I'd probably grab something like this.

It's pretty hard to beat $1.30 each, and these should have minimal components to desolder.

@ rhd. Yup, that's what I was planning on getting if I couldn't find anything else :)

@ jib. Thanks, but I need at least 25 to start. These are going to be part of a kit im going to be offering soon. And I want them to be swappable with the njg-18's. ;)

two years without an update to this thread, I doubt there will be an update. If you need 17mm round battery contact board, just buy the cheapest 17mm driver you can find w/ spring.

On the link i described, could i just bypass the components by soldering leads at specific places, or would i have to de-solder/rip out the components?
