Hey everybody,

I have a couple lasers in my collection that use very eccentric battery configurations. One is a small green laser I picked up from Cheech226 in the Laser Swap Box, and the other is my RPL-E DIY 473 host.

The green laser needs a 15270 LiIon battery
The RPL-e 473 needs a 22650 LiIon battery

Unfortunately I was a bit of a dumbass when I gave ehgemus my specifications and asked for 22650 instead of 26650. What can I say? I got confused. So right now I am using the 18650 sleeve he sent with the host while I try to find the right battery. I have looked at 22600 batteries and all I see are 2500mAh UltraFire batteries. My 18650's are 3400mAh so I don't see the point of buying those.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Rest assured I will never ask for 22650 again haha. As for the green laser, I had never even heard of 15270 but it is a cute little laser and I would love to EDC it once I find a battery.

Thanks,
Isaac

Man those are exotic battery types!

I never heard of 15270 and can't find any

As for the 22650

I'cant find any good branded ones neither :(

I would keep using the sleeve for your RPL IMO a good branded 18650 like the Panasonics is much better than a crappy ultrafire in 22650 package. (I remember that I saw somewhere that ultrafire uses just smaller cells I those exotic types)

Maybe if it really annoys you could find someone to bore out the tube to 26mm dia (Of course only if its possible)

26650's are pretty possible and available to some extend AFAIK. I thought about having the tube bored out by the same machinist who widened the barrel a bit but I don't know if he could do it with the contact board in there.

I'm not a vet ( quite clear 74 posts:D), but don't you have a rule that batteries aren't allowed in the swap box? So maybe the previous owner got some 15270 batteries but didnt send them cause of that.

Just a short idea

Thank you so much Sinner!!! Yeah I figured I would end up just having to go with the 18650's. :/ Oh well I guess they dont improve technology that doesn't have very many uses as much as ones that do(18650's for laptops, 22650 for nothing basically lol). I will have to pick up some of those 15266 cells. Thank you again! +rep :)

Honestly this one looks much better than the lighthound ones, Madvapes is a very trusted seller.. Reviews are good too, Looks to me like we just found cheaper alternatives to AW IMR's with just the same high quality..

Good find +rep if i can

Great battery Review by David

Good battery at an amazing price. Seems to work just as well as the more well known and costlier Efest IMR 18350s. Mine came wrapped in red, not blue as pictured here. (Posted on 7/13/13)

I got two of these and one day, plugged in my charger (Trustfire) and heard a loud pop. One battery no longer charges, but I blame the charger. I'm going to try them again with a Nitecore charger. They were less than 30days old. I mention this as a warning not to take batteries/chargers for granted. (Posted on 6/8/13)

I use 2 of these in my Vamo mods and they work fine and last a long time, I also use the button tops and they work great too, but these are less expensive. (Posted on 2/27/13)

Have had these for two weeks and they last me all day no problems! I am using 2 in the vamo and they last me 18 hours on a single coil and 10 hours on a dual coil! Charge time is about 4 1/2 to 5 hours.. Great product.. Cheapest price.. Where can you go wrong? Thank you madvapes for the best batteries I have ever had! Will be getting more when they come back into stock and recommend anyone considering getting these to do so you will not be sad! (Posted on 2/16/13)
Pleasantly Surprised! Review by bajajim

I use two 18350's in place of an 18650 in a custom LED flashlight that has an output of about 1000 lumen and draws almost 2 amps. These are far superior to previous batteries I have used like the RCR123 even though I often charge them at a higher-than-normal rate by using a power supply to limit the voltage to 4.23 and the current to as high as 5 amps occasionally. May have been a bad seed. Review by Gary

I got his for my telescope mod and after two days, it just would not charge anymore. I checked my charger and all good there. And the rest of my bats are cool, even of this brand. So it may have just been a bad seed. But my 18500's are good. Just spooked to get one of these again. (Posted on 11/20/12)
No good Review by Chris

I bought 3 of these less than 2 weeks ago, the battery life is pretty low, I can run one dead in less than an hour. As of yesterday none of the 3 will take a charge, tried 3 different chargers with same result. Would not buy again. (Posted on 11/13/12)
Best batt Review by Damon

These batteries are the best on the market for vaping. I use them in all my bought mods and custom mods. very consistent, would advise the novice to charge them with one of madvapes BR-103W Multi-Volt Charger over any others, this is because the chage seems to be much stronger and with a power strip and a couple of chargers makes a kick butt charging station. I was using protected ICR batteries in my VV mod. This really made a big difference in battery life. My ICRs would die inside a few hours. These last a lot longer. For the price you cant beat it. (Posted on 9/18/12)
