I received my 1st high powered laser, "cheapish" 200mW green with 18650 and 16340 batteries + charger.

1. How long do I need to charge these batteries?
2. When I can charge them again, I mean, should the batteries be empty when I start charging them?

Thanks

Ps. I will do a review soon of my laser..

1:about 5 hours for the 18650 but the charger will shut down by itself.
2:when the batt is empty charge them again yes for a better / longer life time.
3:no idea :p

Indeed! Blue unprotected 18650 by ultrafire is total crap! It charges in a couple of hours and gives an amazingly low runtime. I tried the black trustfire and I am much more pleased. For a cheap cell I recommend it.

I have exactly that blue one...
I will buy better 18650 soon.

Low temps reduce the output of all the rechargables we use.

In use, lithium ions will heat up from internal resistance,

restoring a portion of the capacity.
