HI

MY BATTERY RECEIVED WITH A 200MW GREEN LASER
is marked as follows

TR 16340 - ( rechargable )
1000mAh
3.7v
Laser & battery are chinese import

I have been trying to purchase in Uk , NON rechargable version
of this battery and have been unable to find

this battery is very similiar in size to CR123a , but a CR123a
is only 3v and laser doesnt work with this battery

Any ideas for an off the shelf NON rechargable 3.7v battery
of this size

Many thanks

Paul

You cannot have NON rechargeable batteries of this size that are 3.7V... Also your laser may not even work with only 3V at the battery's max capacity.

Why doesn't the 16340 work ? The battery should deliver 3.7V and that is what you need for the laser. It doesn't matter if the voltage comes from rechargeable or NON-rechargeble batteries.
Also 3V comes from lithium primary batteries and 3.7V from li-ion rechargeable batteries.
There is no such thing as 3.7V lithium primary batteries. You are mixing up two battery chemistry with different voltages.

Beside the laser requirement is 16340 batteries. That means automatically 3.7V li-ion RECHARGEABLE batteries.
