Here's a simple Test Load using a Radio Shack Board ( 276-159B). You get two boards and you had this one leftover after you built your driver:

The headers and jumpers are available as a kit from RS also (Part No.276-151). You get 10 female jumpers and 40 male headers.
You can use the leftover headers and jumpers to connect to your RS Driver Board
